Account Deletion

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Aroundify and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to your account or profile settings.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm the deletion prompt.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your Aroundify account and include:

• Your Aroundify account email.
• Your display name or anonymous handle, if you remember it.
• A clear statement that you want your Aroundify account deleted.

We may ask for additional verification before processing the request.

Data deleted

Account deletion is designed to remove your user profile, active pulses, stories, event attendance, event comments, created events, connections, messages associated with your account, and the sign-in account where technically possible.

Data that may be retained

Limited records may be retained where needed for legal compliance, safety investigations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security logging, backup recovery, moderation records, or other legitimate operational needs. Backup and log deletion may take additional time.

Timing

We aim to review verified deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days unless a longer period is required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, backup, or verification reasons.
