Account Deletion

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Aroundify and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to your account or profile settings.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm the deletion prompt.

The in-app deletion flow removes account data directly where technically possible. For security, Firebase may require a recent sign-in before the authentication account can be deleted.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your Aroundify account and include:

• Your Aroundify account email.
• Your display name or anonymous handle, if you remember it.
• A clear statement that you want your Aroundify account and associated data deleted.

We may ask for additional verification before processing the request.

Data deleted

Account deletion is designed to remove your user profile, authentication account where technically possible, push notification tokens, active pulses and saved pulse locations, stories, event attendance, event comments, created events, connections, chat messages, business-owned records, business follows, business confirmations, block records, and related account data.

Data that may be retained

Limited records may be retained where needed for legal compliance, safety investigations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, business listing disputes, security logging, backup recovery, moderation records, or other legitimate operational needs. This can include reports, abuse-prevention records, support records, backups, and technical logs.

Timing

We aim to review verified deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days unless a longer period is required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, backup, or verification reasons.
